Worshipers Pray on Ruins of 11 Homes Demolished by Israel

Al-Quds, 25 Syawwal 1437/30 July 2016  (MINA)  – Palestinian worshipers performed Friday’s noon prayers on the ruins of 11 Palestinian homes that were demolished by the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday.

The home is located in Qalandiya village, where 10 more homes had also been subjected to abrupt demolition on the same day under the pretext of unlicensed construction,  the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) was quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Member of the Fatah Central Committee, Abbas Zaki, dubbed Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian land “the peak of terrorism” and “a poisoned dagger in Muslims’ and Arabs’ body.”

Nablus deputy governor Abdullah Seyam spoke out against the racist and oppressive policies pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities and forces against the Palestinian people.

He called on the European Union and international human rights organizations to take up their historical and humanitarian responsibilities as regards Israeli aggressions in Occupied Jerusalem.

Head of the Qalandiya local council Yussef Awad also said Israel’s demolition of 11 homes in the village signals a turn for the worse in Israeli aggressions against Arabs and Muslims.

Meanwhile, ex-prisoner Khader Adnan warned of Israeli Judaization schemes and attempts to expand illegal settlement activity at the expense of Palestinians’ rights.(T/P008/R07)
