Venezuela Supports Unconditionally Independence of Palestine

Caracas, MINA – Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro affirmed his country’s unconditional support for Palestine on the grounds of moral and humanitarian obligations.

Maduro stressed that during a meeting with Palestinian Foreign and Expatriate Minister Riyad Al-Malki, on the sidelines of Minister of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Conference, the need for Venezuela and Palestine to intensify efforts to confront arrogance of the United States (US) government.

According to Wafa on Monday, July 22, US decisions were considered contrary to the principles of international relations based on mutual respect, the principle of non-intervention in internal affairs of the country, and the principle of self-determination of the people.

Al-Malki then explained to Maduro about the latest developments of the situation in Palestine and international steps taken by Palestinian Authority (PA), including at the level of the International Criminal Court and Supreme Court, to confront America.

According to him, Israel seeks to liquidate Palestinian objectives by enacting de facto policies and International Consensus. (T/Sj/P2)
