Netanyahu Prepares to Continue Israeli Attack on Gaza

Tel Aviv, MINA – Despite there is a ceasefire agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday, Israel was preparing for further attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip.

According to Maan News from Hebrew-language news outlet reported hours after the Egyptian-mediated ceasefire agreement, Netanyahu said in a statement, “In the past two days, we have hit Hamas and Islamic Jihad with great power.”

Netanyahu claimed that Israel has attacked more than 350 targets, regarding operations and leaders, and destroyed resistance group’s infrastructure in Gaza.

“Still, the campaign is not over yet, it requires patience,” Netanyahu said.

Earlier, Israel and resistance groups in Gaza had reached ceasefire agreement, which came into force at 04:30 Monday morning.

The report came after two hours of no rockets being fired at Israel, the Times of Israel reported. (T/Sj)
