Gaza, 19 Syawwal 1438/13 July 2017 (MINA) – The Hamas Movement has warned the Israeli occupation authority of dire consequences for its persistence in committing violations against the Palestinian women in its jails.
Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan said that the Palestinian resistance would not stay idly by without responding to Israel’s violations against the Palestinian women, affirming there are efforts to gather information on Israeli jailers accused of committing abuses against female detainees, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.
Radwan made his remarks on Tuesday during a sit-in staged by Palestinian factions outside the Red Cross headquarters in Gaza City in solidarity with the Palestinian women held in Israeli jails.
The Hamas official called on international human rights groups and the Red Cross to intervene and protect the Palestinian female prisoners against Israeli jailers.
