Gaza, MINA – Chair of People’s Committee for the Reconstruction of Siege in Gaza Strip, Jamal Al-Khodari, said that Gaza experienced deficit about US $200 million of houses construction. There are many houses and buildings in Gaza destroyed by Israeli aggression.

“The reconstruction of buildings that have been destroyed since 2014 has now been temporarily halted due to lack of funding from donor countries,” said Al-Khidari as quoted from Quds Press on Tuesday, October 22.

He stressed that the lack of commitment from donor countries affected around 52 thousand Palestinian families because they could not rebuild their homes.

Al-Khodari called on donors in accordance with the agreement at Cairo conference after the 2014 war, to fulfill their financial obligations.
