AL-QARADHAWI CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO SAVE AL-AQSA
Gaza, 16 Muharram 1436/9 November 2014 (MINA) – The international prominent scholar Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi calls on Muslims all around the world to save Al-Aqsa Mosque, which until now is still under Israeli occupation control.
Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA)’s correspondent in Gaza reported al Qaradhawi delievered the message through his official statement last Friday.
Al-Qaradawi also invited all Palestinians to move into the old town where Al-Aqsa Mosque located to defend it from the Judaization of Israel.
“For all Muslims immediately help the Palestinians with anything that can be done to strengthen the fight for freedom of Masjid Al-Aqsa,” the statement added.
The latest unrest in the area of third holiest mosque of Islam came as Palestinians protesting the Israeli shelling of the Muslims who crashed his car into one of Israeli illegal settlers, last Thrusday.
Israel decided to demolish the martyred home. Israel also launched a massive arrest operations against Palestinian activists in the West Bank. As a result, Al-Aqsa mosque closed for Muslims. (L/P008/R03)
