Speaking to KUNA on Wednesday, Wasel Abu Youssef, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said there are no signals that an end of the 10-year split is looming.

He urged Hamas movement to cancel the governmental administrative committee formed to manage the Strip’s affairs and to enable the government of national reconciliation to take this job.

Meanwhile, Tayseer Al-Ali, a Palestinian citizen, told KUNA in a similar statement that after 10 years of the division, matters have gone worse.

He stressed the necessity of ending this state and unifying Palestinians.
