ISRAEL KILLS AL-QASSAM LEADER’S WIFE AND DAUGHTER

Gaza, 24 Shawal 1435/20 August 2014 (MINA) – Israeli occupation regime  has killed wife and daughter of Muhammad Deif, the supreme commander of Al-Qassam brigades in its latest strikes, Tuesday night against the  house of  Daloo family in Sheikh Ridwan area, Gaza City, according to Mousa Abu Marzouk, deputy head of the Hamas Political Bureau.

“The brutality of Israel’s latest strikes on Daloo family house which resulted in martyrdom of his wife and daughter of Supreme Commander Abu Khalid Muhammad Deif. May Allah have mercy on them both, in fact we are Allah’s and unto Him we return, “Abu Marzouk said in an official release received by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

The latest attack on the north of Gaza City  make the number of casualties increased  in Gaza. As this report was being written, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced the number of deaths has reached 2,021 and 10,193 were wounded as a result of the Israeli continuous attacks against the blockaded  enclave for more than 30 days.

Furthermore Abou Marzouk said, Israeli occupation regime suddenly made a surprise move by alleging that three rockets had been launched from Gaza,  so its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered counter strikes and announced to stop the negotiations and the withdrawal of their delegates as well as ending the truce.

“In this unexpected steps, Israeli occupation regime announced a fall of three rockets at the Israeli area, soon after Netanyahu announced a halt of negotiations, the withdrawal of their delegates, and ending the truce, in the midst of all the confusion,” said Abu Marzouk.

Abu Marzouk stated that it was just an excuse to target Hamas leaders. “We do not know why they are doing this. Thus, not long after came the news about rockets from the Gaza Strip, but only as a pretext to target a great leader of Hamas, ” said Abu Marzouk.

“So at the time of the (their delegation) withdrawal and  ending of  the truce talks, Israel started attacking Daloo family homes, resulting the deaths of wife and daughter of Muhammad Deif,” he said.

According to Abu Marzouk, Netanyahu has made nonsense  with the new atrocities targeting civilians,  violating treaties and agreements, and create new disappointment of Egyptian intelligence.

Earlier, on Tuesday (19/8) night around 21.15 local time,the Israel’s latest assault on the family Daloo in Ridwan Sheikh area, north of Gaza City killed three other people two of them women and children, and wounded 15 others who were then immediately taken to Ash-Shifa hospital.

Muhammad  Deif is the supreme commander of the Al-Qassam, he never revealed himself to the public, many do not even know his real identity.(L/K01/P03/E01)
