Jenin, MINA – The Israeli occupation aggression against the city of Jenin and its camps entered its forty-third consecutive day on Tuesday, which has so far killed 28 Palestinians and left dozens injured, Wafa News Agency reported.

The Israeli occupation army expanded its aggression against the city of Jenin to include the eastern areas of the city, where special forces stormed the al-Ghoul building in the area at dawn and fired live ammunition at the young man Jihad Alawneh, 23, and prevented his transfer after he was injured, which led to his death.

The occupation also detained a young man from his home in the eastern area, while it sent military reinforcements to the area accompanied by bulldozers that began to demolish several roads, including Al-Madaris Street, Suwaytat Street, until it reached Haddad village, and Nazareth Street.

The occupation army also closed the Jenin-Nablus Road and the southern entrance to the city, and its military vehicles were stationed at the Asfour roundabout.

In the eastern neighborhoods of the city, the occupation forces forced residents to evacuate their homes after using loudspeakers and asking them to leave their homes, especially in the Al-Saadiya neighborhood and the Al-Ghoul building.

The occupation forces also searched homes in the Khalid bin Al-Walid area and the Halima Al-Saadiya area, amid the presence of armored vehicles.

They cut off electricity to some parts of the city, as its infrastructure was destroyed by the occupation bulldozers.

The occupation continues to close all entrances to Jenin camp with mounds of earth, and displace residents who try to reach their homes, while bulldozers and their machines are stationed around the camp and military reinforcements are sent to all its entrances.

The occupation has so far displaced about 20,000 residents of Jenin camp, who are spread across 39 cities and local governments.

The occupation seeks to change the characteristics of the camp through systematic demolitions that have affected 120 houses completely and dozens of houses partially.

The occupation forces carried out 336 raids, subjecting residents to field investigations, while drones carried out around 15 bombing operations. The occupation prevented local and international press crews from entering the camp to monitor the destruction and collapse, and to cover its practices against residents. []
