Jerusalem, MINA – Israeli occupation forces attacked a number of Al-Aqsa Mosque guards and arrested one of them in an attack on the Ar-Rahmah gate to the east of Al Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, October 29.
The attack occurred when Jewish extremist settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque that morning through the Maghribi gate under heavy guard by Israeli Forces.
According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem quoted by Safa, Israeli occupation forces stormed Ar-Rahmah gate and arrested Ihab Abu Ghazaleh, on the pretext of taking pictures of police officers as they stormed the mosque.
He explained the troops attacked a number of guards and carried out beatings.

It is said that extremist groups “Jewish Glick” stormed together with dozens of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque. They were roaming the courtyard with strict protection from Israeli Forces.
Events, such as Jewish settlers usually do to perform the Talmud ritual in the courtyard of mosque, especially on the east side of the mosque, as well as receiving an explanation of alleged existence of the “temple”.
Meanwhile, Israeli Forces continue to restrict the entry of Palestinians from Jerusalem and occupied Palestinian territories into Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israeli police checked their identities and detained several of them outside the gate.
Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis, except for Fridays and Saturdays, experiences a series of attacks and violations by settlers and various occupying weapons. (T/Sj/P2)
