FJP: BROTHERHOOD LEADERS ARE NOT ARRESTED; AUTHORITIES INTENT TO VIOLATE FREEDOMS

Ahmed Aref, Brotherhood’s media spokesman
Cairo, 27 Sha’ban 1434/5 July 2013 (MINA) –  Muslim Brotherhood media spokesman Ahmed Aref , rejected as false rumors alleging the arrest of Dr. Mohamed Badie, Muslim Brotherhood Chairman.

Aref affirmed that the rumors were simply utter lies – the continuation of the deliberate lies and rumors war already underway, according to FJP (Freedom and Justice Party)’s official website as monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA).

Separately, Ayman Abdel-Ghani, leading member of Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said in a statement to Ikhwanweb: “Khairat Al-Shater, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Vice-Chairman, has not been arrested.

“There is a continuing security effort to indeed arrest him,” Ghani said.

The media reported the military coup in Egypt unleashes bloody monsters of violence, repression and corrupt, brutal police state.

Abdel-Ghani explained that authorities evidently have a vengeful security plan to continuously hunt and prosecute Muslim Brotherhood and FJP leaders, to violate freedoms in a repressive manner painfully reminiscent of the Mubarak regime’s blatant and bloody crimes against the Muslim Brotherhood.

In a speech Thursday, Brotherhood spokesman Aref assures that despite all the brutal repression and excessive violence that killed and injured thousands of pro-democracy, pro-Morsi demonstrators across Egypt, the Brotherhood remains committed to peaceful protest. (T/P03/P04)
