Two Indian Air Force Men, 2 Militants Killed in Kashmir Clashes
New Delhi, MINA – Two Indian Air Force personnel and two militants were killed on Wednesday following an encounter between the security forces and separatists in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indo Asian News Agency quoted Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia as saying that two IAF “commandos were killed in action while operating with the Army for operational experience and training,” in the Hajin area of Bandipora.
Indian security men encircled Paribal village early today after receiving intelligence information that militants are hiding in a house in the village.
An intense exchange of fire erupted as the security came under fire from the hiding militants resulting in the killing of two militants and two soldiers while a third one sustained injuries.
