Tunis, MINA – Students in all Tunisian schools hold solidarity and support for Palestinian people. They condemned the attitude of the United States who considered that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories were legal.

Tunisian news agency Tunis Afrique Presse said classes were suspended for 20 minutes to sing the Palestinian national anthem and silence at the request of Federation of Secondary Education as a sign of solidarity with Palestinian people.

Tunisian Minister of Education, Hatem Ben Salem also participated in the activity to pray for Palestinian martyrs in the recent Israeli aggression in Gaza, as quoted from Wafa on Monday.

Ben Salem has stressed all Tunisians sects stood on that day to respect the struggle of Palestinian people and their fortitude in the face of Israeli atrocities.

He also called on the international community to stop Israeli violations, especially deprivation of the rights of Palestinian children of education.

Ben Salem reiterated Tunisian full and unwavering support for the Palestinian issue. (T/Sj/P2)
