Ajman, MINA – Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, has named an unfinished mosque in Al Raqaib region in Ajman after the martyr, Sameer Mohammed Mourad Abu Bakr Al Baloushi, and covered the expense of its construction, to honour his memory.

Al Baloushi was one of the most courageous men of the UAE Armed Forces, who died during “Operation Restoring Hope” while serving with the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia, to support the legitimate government in Yemen, WAM reported.

While praising the morals of the late martyr, Al Nuaimi stressed that naming the mosque after him was a small dedication as he lost his life while protecting the country.

He noted that the mosque, measuring 12,000 square feet, can accommodate 1,000 people while adding that it is located near the martyr’s house so his memory will remain in the local area, to show people the greatest example of love for the nation and teach future generations about the values of heroism.

Al Nuaimi stressed that the wise leadership has always honoured martyrs while the government of Ajman is always keen to appreciate and honour them, and care for their families and children.
