Nablus, 6 Dzulhijjah 1436/20 September 2015 (MINA) – A Palestinian child afternoon Saturday sustained live bullet injuries after the Israeli occupation troops rolled in western Nablus and quelled a peaceful protest.

Eye-witnesses said the Israeli occupation troops came down heavily on a group of unarmed Palestinian marchers demanding the opening of Kafr Qaddum’s bypass, closed for the 13th year running by the Israeli occupation authorities.

A 15-year-old child sustained foot wounds after the Israeli occupation soldiers showered the marchers with heavy spates of live ammunition.

Medics at the Rafidia hospital in Nablus, where the casualty was rushed, described the injuries as moderate.

Several rallies and marches have taken place in Kafr Qaddum to urge the Israeli occupation authorities to open the main access road to the village after they closed it to secure free movement out of and into illegal settlements.(T/P008/R03)
