Cincinnati, 23 Rabi’ul Akhir 1438/22 January 2017 (MINA) – A touching note found left on Muslim family’s door from their neighbours full of warmth and love during Donald Trump’s innauguration, the Metro reported.
The letter, which was not signed, read: ‘Today begins a new stage for our country.
‘No matter what happens, please know there are still a lot of people who will fight for your right to practice your religion, to continue to live your lives without discrimination.’

It then ended with: ‘You are welcome in our neighbourhood and if you need anything – please knock on our door.’
Hend Amry, the niece of the home owner, shared a picture of the card that her uncle received on Twitter straight after Trump’s inauguration.
Under it she wrote: ‘This is the America that took us in as political refugees,the America that gave us a new home, & the America that keeps my hope alive today.’
Her tweet has since had more than 60,000 likes and dozens of people commenting in surprise at the letter.(T/RE1/RS05)
