Malaysia Ensure Two Mutilation Victims are Indonesian Citizens
Kuala Lumpur, MINA – The Diraja Malaysia Police (PDRM) ensures that two mutilated victims found in Sungai Buloh are Indonesian citizens (WNI). Indonesian Embassy ini Kuala Lumpur received this information after the PDRM completed the process of matching the DNA of the two victims with the samples of their respective families’ DNA.
In a statement, the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur said that after this announcement, the process of returning the two bodies of Indonesian citizens could immediately be returned to their families.
“The Indonesian Embassy has conveyed the sad news to the victims’ families on behalf of Nuryanto (37) in Bandung and Ai Munawarah (20) in Bekasi. The Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur will soon carry out the repatriation process,” the Indonesian Embassy said in a press release on Friday.
The Indonesian Embassy, in its statement, then said that with the determination of identity of the two victims, the PDRM could begin to develop an investigation into this case.
“The Indonesian government through the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur will provide full support in efforts to disclose this case, as has been done since the emergence of this case, including assistance for the families of the two victims,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Arrmanatha Nassir said Malaysian police had examined two foreign nationals and searched for one other person suspected are involved in the case. (T/Sj/P2)
