Jericho, 20 Muharram 1437/2 November 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) prevented over the past month 96 Palestinian citizens from traveling via Karama border crossing under security pretexts.

Palestinian security sources said on Sunday that 128,000 managed to pass through the Karama crossing that links between Jordan and occupied West Bank in October, while 96 passengers’ travel was banned under security pretexts, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

During October, the number of departures reached 75,387 while the number of arrivals reached 53,190, the sources added.

Restricting and banning people movement constitute a flagrant violation of the international human rights laws and conventions.(T/P008/R03)
