Enzo Zenz, Fresh Military Academy Graduates from Pesantren

Magelang, MINA – Enzo Zenz Allie, one of the young men who had just been accepted as the Military academy who was of French descent, was a graduate of a boarding school in Serang, Banten.

Enzo was born and spent his childhood in Paris, returned to Indonesia, his mother’s homeland at the age of 13, after his French father died. In Indonesia, Enzo went to junior high school and continued with pesantren education.

Commander General of TNI Academy Rear Admiral Aan Kurnia praised Enzo’s religious knowledge which he valued very well.

“It’s just that I might lose, his reciting is great, the religion is good,” Aan said during the opening ceremony of the partnership of Caprabhatar Academic Year for the TNI-Akpol Academy in 2019 at Sapta Marga Field, Military Academy, Magelang, Tuesday (6/8).

In addition to Indonesian, which is the mother language, Enzo also masters French, English and Arabic, and reciting of Quran smoothly as he did during the final selection (Pantukhir).

“I feel happy and grateful to Allah PBUH for making me a Capratar. Thank you (Mama) for taking care of me all this time, thank you very much, ” said Enzo.

Enzo, who was born and spent his childhood in Paris, when he was 13 years old moved to Indonesia with his mother.

Meanwhile, in the presence of the TNI Commander and Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Andika Perkasa, when Panthkhir, Enzo said, since childhood he aspired to become an Infantry and Kopassus soldier.

The TNI Commander spoke in French with Enzo.

“I know Akmil from Mother, when I was in middle school, I moved to Indonesia in 2014 to continue in junior high,” he said.

Separately, Enzo’s mother, Siti Hadiati Nahriah, said Enzo became an orphan after her father died of a heart attack.

“Becoming a TNI soldier has been his dream since he was a child. Enzo spurred itself to realize its ideals by pursuing achievements, including winning second place in the 50 meter distance race in Popda and winning the 400 m and 800 m distance at the National Championship,” she said. (R/Ast/P2)
