Mann Win Khiang Than said that president-elect Htin Kyaw was putting forward 18 candidates, including Suu Kyi, for 21 ministries.
Parliament ended its 15-minute session without disclosing the details of which nominee would get which post, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) reported, quoting DPA.
Aung San Suu Kyi is banned from becoming president under the military-drafted constitution.
