Al-Quds, 26 Muharram 1438/27 October 2016 (MINA) – Israeli municipality approved Thursday morning the construction of new housing units in occupied Jerusalem starting from next week.
Israeli media sources affirmed that Israeli authorities approved the construction of 181 new housing units in the occupied city, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.
Under international law, Israeli settlements in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank are considered illegal.
However, Netanyahu’s government continues its settlement projects despite the international backlash. (T/P008/R07)
