ISRAEL DECLARES UNILATERALLY CEASEFIRE MONDAY

Gaza,  8 Shawwal 1435/4 August 2014 (MINA) –  The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) unilaterally declared a 7-hour humanitarian cease-fire, going into effect at 10 A.M. local time.

“The Israeli Occupation Regime Cabinet said a truce will take place on Monday from 10 am to 4 pm local time,” Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) correspondent in Gaza reported on Monday (4/8).

Confirming this, the Hebrew media Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Israeli Occupation Regime government coordinator Yoaf Mordechai as saying that “Israel  Occupation Regime has declared humanitarian ceasefire from 10 am until four pm in Gaza.”

This follows the Israeli Occupation Regime security cabinet’s decision to no longer attempt to reach a cease-fire agreement through negotiations with Hamas and the Palestinian factions in Gaza.

Palestinian resistance respond

Resistance movement Hamas rejected the unilaterally ceasefire for 7 hours in the Gaza Strip which Israel occupation regime announced today, saying “the unilateral ceasefire aims to divert world attention from the massacres committed by Israel occupation regime in Gaza.”

“Clearly this to distract the world from the slaughter they did,  that’s why we remind our citizens to be vigilant,” said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a statement.

As far as aggression that have occurred since the beginning of July until today, Israel occupation regime has made more than 1800 Palestinians dead and injuring nearly 10,000 others. (L/K01/P03/E01)
