Gaza, MINA – Rescue teams and ambulance crews on Tuesday exhumed about 40 bodies from a mass grave in the northern Gaza Strip, according to a WAFA correspondent.

He said that the bodies of 40 Palestinians killed in the Israeli military aggression were retrieved from the mass grave and will be buried in an official cemetery.

He explained that the bodies were buried in a mass grave in the city of Beit Lahia due to the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation at the time.

Earlier, medical sources announced that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,405.

They announced that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the war-torn Gaza Strip has risen to 111,835.

At least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, believed to have died under the rubble of their homes across the Gaza Strip.

The sources added that in the past 48 hours, the bodies of eight Palestinians and 11 injured have been treated in hospitals in the Gaza Strip. []
