Anti Trump students march to UIC Pavillion.
New York, 22 Rabiul Akhir 1438/21 January 2017 (MINA) — Thousands of New Yorkers joined forces protesting against their 45th President-elect Donald Trump on the eve of his inauguration.
A massive protest held Thursday evening outside Trump’s New York City International Hotel and tower in Manhattan, with speeches from famous figures including Mayor Bill de Blasio, Robert de Niro, Michael Moore, Alec Baldwin and other celebrities., Kuna reported.

In his speech, Mayor De Blasio told the gathered crowds that “Tomorrow Donald Trump will have power; but tomorrow, you will have power as well.”
He said the President-elect may control the agenda in the capital Washington, but the people control their own destiny.
De Blasio reminded the attendees that the entire country does not reside in Washington, and Americans should not let anyone define them just by what they are against; but they want to be defined by what they are for, and what they believe in.
Director Michael Moore, who organized for the protest that started at 6:00 pm (New York Time), called for “100 days of protest” against Trump as he starts his presidency on Friday.

He started off his speech naming this time in the US to be “very dangerous.” Other celebrities took the stage and have been more outspoken and criticized their President. (T/RS05/RS01)
