Tulkarem, MINA – The wave of forced displacement from the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps has increased as the Israeli aggression on the city of Tulkarem and the Camp entered its 40th consecutive day on Friday, and the attacks on the Nur Shams Camp entered its 27th day, amid intensive military reinforcements, raids, and demolitions of homes, Palinfo reported.
The media committee in the Tulkarem Camp said that the invasion of the Israeli occupation forces into the city and its camps led to the martyrdom of 13 people, and the displacement of about 25,000 citizens from the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, including 12,000 from the Tulkarem Camp, and 13,000 from the Nur Shams Camp.
The Israeli occupation forces continued to demolish homes and destroy infrastructure, preventing residents and civil defense officers from opening closed roads in the city, in addition to cutting off all basic services to the two camps.
The demolitions and destruction of homes and facilities affected 632 homes and other structures, while the Israeli occupation forces arrested about 190 residents during intensive arrest operations in the two camps. []
