Israel to Raze Two Palestinian Homes in Mount Scopus

Jerusalem, 20 Rabi’ul Akhir 1438/19 January 2017 (MINA) – Israeli municipality in Occupied Jerusalem handed home demolition orders to two Jerusalemites of Qanbar family in Mount Scopus town, southeast of the holy city, for the claim of lacking a construction permit.

Israeli municipality razed over 80 structures used for housing and commercial purposes in Mount Scopus after the anti-occupation car-ramming attack which was carried out by martyr Fadi Qanbar in Armon Hanatziv settlement on January 8, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

Four Israeli soldiers were killed and fifteen others were injured in the anti-occupation attack.

Israeli Authority tends to demolish hundreds of family homes of Palestinians who carried out anti-Israel attacks in 1948 Occupied Palestine as a punitive measure.(T/R04/RS05)
