Israel Announces Holding Two Martyrs’ Bodies
Gaza, MINA – The Israeli Government announced on Sunday holding bodies of two Palestinians who were killed during the “right of return” grand rally marking the “Land Day” last Friday, KUNA reported.
The Coordinator of Israeli Government Activities in Palestine, Yoav Mordechai, said in a statement that Israel is holding the bodies of Musab Salol and Mohammad Rabaya from the Gaza Strip.
Mordechai charged that the two martyrs were armed and planned a military operation on the border against the Israeli Army during the grand rally.
He also noted that since the Israeli war on Gaza in the summer of 2014 and during different military operations, Israel has been holding bodies of 24 Palestinians, rising the number of detainees to 26.
About 15 Palestinians were killed and more than 1,416 injured on Friday after Israeli Army troops opened fire on tens of thousands of Palestinians, including women, children and elderly during the “right of return” grand rally marking the “Land Day”. (T/RS5/RS1)
