Jakarta, 27 Ramadan 1435/25 July 2014 (MINA) – Indonesia humanitarian agencies Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C ) strongly condemned Israeli drone attacks on Indonesian Hospital (RS) in Bayt Lahiya, northern Gaza.
“MER-C strongly condemns Israel who neglects humanity,” said Chairman of Presidium of MER-C, Dr. Henry Hidayatullah, via telephone to the Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) Jakarta, Friday.
Israeli drones had targeted Indonesian hospital by firing their missile and hitting the mortuary.

“The drone strikes caused two big holes in the walls and destroy air conditioner system in Indonesian Hospital,” Muqarrabin al-Fikri, chairman of MER-C branch in Gaza reported .
According to the volunteers from Al-Fatah foundation, Cileungsi, Bogor, the drones also fired a bulldozer in a parking area in front of the Indonesian hospital. The bulldozer located about 15 meters from main building, where 19 Indonesian volunteers staying.
According to Henry, A hospital ishould be protected in the war. “We should not underestimate every attack,” he said.
MER-C is a humanitarian organization which initiating the development of Indonesian Hospital in Gaza based on Indonesian mandate as a proof of love to the people of Palestine.

Meanwhile, International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) also condemned the Israeli attack to some hospitals in Gaza.
Israeli F-16 aircraft fighter fired missiles at third floor of Syuhada al-Aqsha Hospital in Deir Balah, middle of the blockaded territory, Monday .
According to MINA’s correspondent in Gaza, the attack caused at least five people martyred and dozen people injured.
F-16 Missiles bombarded El-Wafa hospital, east of Gaza, Thursday, 17 July. Although there were no casualties, paramedics evacuated their patients. (L/P09/Syt/P04)
