HALALGOOGLING FILTERS MUSLIM INTERNET SAFELY

        Jakarta, 12 Ramadan 1434/20 July (MINA) – To fulfill the the internet needs for Muslim communities, internet expert around the world has launched Halalgoogling, search engines like Google with the privilege to filter negative content on internet.

       “Halalgoogling has a special filtering system that excludes Haram (forbidden) sites or content from the search results such as pornography, nudity, gay, lesbian, bisexual, gambling, anti-Islamic content or anything else that is Haram according to the Islamic law, said a report on the official website Halalgoogling as monitored by Mi ‘raj News Agency (MINA) on Friday (19/7).

       According to the website, which was launched on Sunday (14/7) the website was not able to capture all haram contents. Users are encouraged to report internet content which contains haram if the haram contain can not be filtered by the filter system (Haram Filtering System).

      “Despite of our best efforts to make our service as secure as possible from haram content, there is still much work to be done, we still have several milestones to overcome, but with God willing (Insha’Allah) and your help we will make Halalgoogling suitable for every Muslim brother and sister and achieve our common goal. We apologize for any unintentional mistake that we might have made or could make in the future. We are humans and we make mistakes, only God (Allah SWT) The Almighty and All-knowing does not make mistakes.,” the report said.

         The Express Tribune reported, a team of internet experts around the world have been working for years to meet the needs of Muslims who want to search for content without finding haram content for Muslim, so Muslim can search on the internet safely. (T/P05/E1)
