A Cleric of Gaza Visits Aceh, Indonesia

Banda Aceh, MINA – Sheikh Muhammad Al Naji from Gaza, Palestine visited Aceh Province, Indonesia to provide an explanation of current condition in Gaza and seek support in the form of funds for Palestinians who are currently still in a state of being squeezed due to Israeli blockade.

Sheikh Al Naji visited Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Blangpidie, Southwest Aceh on Sunday, September 15 and was welcomed by hundreds of students.

Sheikh Al Naji also gave a lecture to students. He invited students to read and understand Al-Quran in order to achieve success in the afterlife.

“Everybody wants to be successful in the world and survive in afterlife, so there are two things that must be done. The foundation of happiness, success, glory of everyone is holding fast to Al-Quran, “he said.

Sheikh Al Naji also explained the current conditions in Gaza. He asked the people of Aceh who are predominantly Muslim to continue to care about the conditions in Palestine.

“Israeli actions against Palestine have claimed thousands of lives lost, among the elderly, children, women. Israeli aggression has brought Palestine to the point of collapse, so it needs special world attention to the current condition of Palestine, especially from Indonesia, “said Al Naji.

He also advised all students to put up their intention in the process of studying in schools, so that the knowledge gained in the school received the pleasure of Allah.

“The desire of us to improve our nation, our people, the progress of Aceh in particular, and Indonesia, in general, can be achieved because brothers are the next generation of this nation, so, their fate in the future is in hands of all of you,” he said. (T/Sj/P2)
