Gaza City, 22 Ramadan 1435/20 July 2014 (MINA) – Palestinian doctors have warned of a catastrophic situation in the besieged Gaza Strip due to shortage of basic healthcare facilities and medical supplies.
Medical officials in Gaza told a Press TV correspondent that many of those wounded have lost their lives in hospital due to a lack of medical supplies. Palestinian officials and doctors are now warning of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis across the besieged enclave.
Medics say the death toll is rapidly rising as more injured patients are succumbing to their injuries, Press TV quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting, Sunday.
The warning comes as severely injured patients in the Gaza Strip are in dire need of medical supplies after Israeli warplanes and tanks bombed hospitals in the impoverished territory.
