Best Quality Generation Becomes the Highlight of Indonesian Muslim Women Congress

Jakarta, MINA – The best quality generation is one of the main issues being discussed in the Indonesian Muslim Women Congress (KMI) II in Jakarta, since Monday. The Congress was held by the Women’s Youth and Family Commissions of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, who attended the congress, revealed that qualified generations are needed to face the challenges of globalization. According to her, best quality generation are those who are able to use technology as a reality without destroying its human value.

“Quality generation are also those who have knowledge and understanding of science, she said.

They have character of faith and honesty, they have the attitude to face global challenges, “she added.

Quality generation also those who not only asked and waited, but they are be part of solution.

The woman who is often called “Bu Ani” revealed that the character of the youth generation is formed from the family. So the role of Mother in educating generations is very important.

“We, among women, have a role three times more important than men, because pregnant women, their feelings and thoughts will shape their minds and children as well, so that what is read and felt by mothers is a generation process,” she said.

Ani stressed, to form a quality generation, the mother must be ready to become the first place of education to become the best quality human beings. (TL/P2/RS5)
