Jakarta, MINA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) led the mid-day prayer, or Zhuhr prayer, as the Imaam in a mosque in the city of Kabul during his state visit to Afghanistan, Antara News reported.
During his visit to Kabul, Afghanistan, on Monday, President Widodo utilized the opportunity to perform joint Zhuhr prayers at a mosque located in the city of Kabul.
On the same occasion, the president was urged to be the Imaam at the prayer service, attended by President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani among other members of the congregation.
Before the prayers, both state leaders were seen exchanging their respective countries` traditional fez, which are headcaps commonly worn by Muslim men during prayers.

President Jokowi received the turban, unique to Afghanistan, while his Afghan counterpart received an Indonesian cap.
