British PM Congratulates Muslims on Eid Al-Adha

London,11 Dzulhijjah 1437/13 September 2016 (MINA) – British Prime Minister Theresa May on Monday congratulated Muslims in the United Kingdom and worldwide on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha

“I am cognizant of the significance of Eid and what it means to families and friends, as it unites Muslims all across the globe,” Kuna quoted the British Prime Minister as saying.

“Our Muslim communities have always been gracious enough to help out those less fortunate,” May added.

She also noted that she is proud of contributions by British Muslims in a nation home to diverse ethnicities and backgrounds.

“I want to wish all Muslims all over the world a gleeful Eid,” she said. (T/R07/R01)
