AL-QURAN OPEN UNIVERSITY LAUNCHED AT THE END OF JUNE

         Bandar Lampung, 13 Sha’ban 1434 H/22 June 2013 (MINA) – Open University of Al-Quran Abdullah bin Mas’ud is scheduled to be launched at the end of June. The secretary of the university, Nur Habibi told Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) during its seminary held in Al-Fatah Boarding school in Lampung, Indonesia, Thursday (20/6).

        Yakhsyallah Mansur, the Chairman of the University called for muslims to support the college as an Islamic generation means. “We all hope this university becomes as we expect. Therefore, the support of all parties, Muslims, and all relevant agencies are needed,” said Yakhsyallah.

        Ariffien Bratawinata, speaker of the seminar, expected that the academic staff of the University will seriuously manage it. “I hope all the staff who manage this university have sincerity. If it is needed one have to stay here in Muhajirun in order to manage it, “said Arifien.

        The university  to make cooperation with various universities around the world. “We will continue to work closely with the Indonesian Open University, Darul Quran Wa Sunnah, Gaza, Bachtar Ridha University, Sudan, and other universities as well as Islamic banking. We will also soon send our delegates to explore the cooperation, “said Yakhsyallah.

         Talking about the funding, Yakhsyallah said that funding is an important issue, but more important is the sincerity and patience from all of the staffs. “a lot of fund but there is no sincerity and patience then it’s nothing,” said the man who are appointed as International Al Quds envoy.

         As the result, Nurhabibi said that the university will be launched soon. “We planned to launch in Tabligh Akbar, on Sunday, June 30, 2013 M. Next year according to our master plan, we can open a new class. ” Habibi said. (L/P05/P03)
