Sudan Encourages Indonesia to Increase His Investment

Jakarta, MINA – Sudanese Ambassador to Indonesia Elsiddieg Abdulaziz Abdalla said his country is a safe and potential place to carry out economic cooperation and long-term investment.

For this reason, he encouraged Indonesian companies to spread their wings to Africa, especially Sudan.

Sudan can be a big market for investment. Sudan has opened for business and investment,” said Abdalla, when met with reporters at the Sudanese Embassy in Jakarta, Friday.

According to him, several sectors have a big opportunity for Indonesia to invest and one of them is petroleum exploration.

Relate to the 63rd Independence Day of the Republic of Sudan which on January 1. Sudan could become a potential market for cooperation in agriculture, plantation, mining, transportation, education, and tourism.

In addition, Abdalla continued, Sudan’s geographical location can be the gateway for the entry of various Indonesian products to a number of neighboring Sudanese countries which Indonesia does not have direct access such as in Central Africa, Chad, Congo, Ethiopia, Uganda, and South Sudan.
