Jambi, MINA – Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur has affirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the barometer of the honor of the Muslim ummah and a defining marker of a true believer. He made the statement while delivering a religious address at a Tabligh Akbar gathering on Sunday in Sarolangun, Jambi.
Imaam Yakhsyallah stated that the declining concern among Muslims for Al-Aqsa Mosque is a sign of weakening faith.
According to him, this condition indicates that the hearts of the ummah have been afflicted by wahn, a spiritual illness characterized by excessive attachment to worldly life and neglect of the collective honor of the ummah.
“When Muslims no longer care about Al-Aqsa, it is a sign that their hearts are afflicted by a disease, wahn (worldly obsession) and a lack of concern for the honor of the ummah,” Imaam Yakhsyallah said.

In his sermon titled “The Correlation Between a True Believer and the Liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine,” he explained that the ongoing occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque serves as an alarm for the faith of every Muslim. This situation, he said, should awaken the ummah to return to fulfilling its religious responsibilities.
He emphasized that scholars have long asserted that defending Al-Aqsa Mosque is not merely a humanitarian issue, but a faith-based obligation inherent to every Muslim.
“Scholars have consistently stated that defending Al-Aqsa Mosque is a responsibility of faith, not merely a humanitarian concern,” he stressed.
Imaam Yakhsyallah further noted that Al-Aqsa Mosque is not solely the responsibility of the Palestinian people, but a collective duty of Muslims worldwide.

He underscored that Al-Aqsa is a trust bequeathed to the Muslim ummah, which must be safeguarded and defended.
As the author of the book “Ma‘rifi Jihad in the Liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine,” he called on Muslims to enhance their awareness, understanding, and concern for Al-Aqsa Mosque as part of preserving the honor and identity of the ummah.[]
