Gaza, MINA – Three Palestinians, including two children, were killed and several others injured in Israeli drone strikes targeting Gaza City and Khan Younis on Monday.
Medical sources at al-Shifa Hospital reported that one Palestinian was killed and several others injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
In the southern Gaza Strip, an Israeli drone strike targeted the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis, killing two children.
The attacks came amid continued reports of ceasefire violations following the truce that took effect in October 2025. According to figures cited from Gaza’s Health Ministry, more than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed and over 5,300 injured since the ceasefire began. The ministry has reported that the overall Palestinian death toll since October 7, 2023, has exceeded 74,000.

The UN Human Rights Office has reported that 268 children were among 1,076 Palestinians whose deaths it verified during a period following the ceasefire. UNICEF has also highlighted the severe impact of the war on children, including the loss of parents and continued fatalities since the truce was announced.
Gaza’s humanitarian crisis remains severe, with healthcare services under pressure from shortages of fuel and medicines. Agricultural activities have also been heavily affected, while many families continue to live in damaged buildings that may pose safety risks.
International calls have continued for the ceasefire to be respected and for humanitarian assistance to reach people across the Gaza Strip. However, continued attacks and civilian casualties underscore the fragile situation facing Palestinians, particularly children.[]
