LAMPUNG PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GIVES SPECIAL ATTENTION TO QUR'AN MEMORIZATION

Bandar Lampung, 19 Shawwal 1436/4 August 2015, (MINA) – The Governor of Lampung province, Ridho Ficardo encouraged his staffs to give special attention to the hafeedzs (Qur’an memorizer).

This was stated by the Head of Education and Culture (Dikbud) Mental Development Bureau Government of Lampung Province, Wahyu to Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) in his visit to Shuffah Qur’an Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) Online campus, , Muhajirun, South Lampung, Tuesday.

“Mr. Governor has asked his staffs to give special attention to the Qur’an memorizer students in Lampung, and in the near future we will give 333 Hafeedz and Hafeedzah financial assistance including SQABM, “he said.

According to him, the governor also emphasized the role of Qur’an learners in building the civilization and maintaining public morality.

Wahyu said, the assistance aims to score as much hafidz and Hafidzah as possible.

“The more hafeedz and hafeedzah in Lampung would be a blessings for the region, and everyone who help them will be blessed as well. Hopefully, Lampung province become a blessed city by supporting Al-Quran learners, “he said.

The arrival of Dikbud’s chief of Mental Development Bureau, Lampung Province to SQABM alongside 4 other staffs within the verification team in order to provide recommendations in obtaining operational licenses of SQABM by the Directorate General College of Islamic Religious Affairs Ministry.

SQABM an educational institution which is established to improve the quality of Muslims in all areas by following the Qur’an to establish Muslim scholars who have a strong foundation of faith.

The education teaches the example of an education institution established of prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, which was the Shuffah, making Qur’an as the main basis underlying other sciences. Shuffah also serves as an educational institution that is independent and universal, there is no age, place and time limit for the students who wish to study there. (L/K08/R03/NMT)
