Gaza, MINA – The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Israeli airstrike on a police vehicle in Gaza City that killed four people, including a child, on Tuesday, the Palestine Information Center reports.
In a statement, Hamas said today’s attack reflects the intent of the Israeli occupation government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, to derail efforts aimed at implementing the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas affirmed that the repeated targeting of police officers is part of the Israeli government’s attempt to spread chaos in the Strip and weaken the security system.
The Movement called on the US administration and other mediators to fulfill their duties by taking action against Israel’s crimes and violations in Gaza and pressure it to honor its obligations under the ceasefire agreement.[]
