Gaza, MINA – A Palestinian man and his wife were killed and five other people injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, according to medical sources and witnesses cited by Anadolu Agency.
The attacks occurred amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025.
A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital said the bodies of the couple and four injured Palestinians, including three women, were brought to the facility following an Israeli airstrike on a house in western Gaza City.
Witnesses said an Israeli helicopter fired at least one missile at a family home near Al-Shifa Hospital, killing the couple and injuring others. The strike also sparked a fire inside the house, which civil defense crews later extinguished.

In eastern Gaza City, Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling and opened heavy fire from military vehicles and quadcopter drones toward Palestinian homes and tents sheltering displaced families in the Tuffah neighborhood. The shelling and gunfire continued throughout the night, while several explosions were heard as Israeli forces demolished homes and civilian structures in areas under their control.
Israeli warships also fired bullets and shells toward the northern coast of Gaza City, while military vehicles opened heavy fire toward the Sudaniya area in the northwestern Gaza Strip.
In southern Gaza, a medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis said a Palestinian girl was injured when Israeli forces fired toward tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Iqlimi area south of the city.
Witnesses reported that Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward homes and displacement tents in several areas of central, southern and northern Khan Younis. Israeli forces also carried out extensive demolitions in areas under their control east of the city.

According to the latest figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry as of Monday, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had killed 1,522 Palestinians and injured another 5,421.
Since October 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others, while approximately 90 percent of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli forces have continued airstrikes, artillery shelling and gunfire across the territory, causing further casualties and damage to civilian property.
The humanitarian situation remains critical, with medical facilities facing shortages of fuel and medicines, the agricultural sector nearing collapse, and thousands of families sheltering in damaged buildings at risk of collapse. The World Food Programme has also reduced food assistance for 500,000 Palestinians in Gaza because of funding shortages.
