Jeddah, MINA – Al-Ittihad FC hosted United Arab Emirates team Al-Wahda in the round of 16 of the 2025-26 Asian Champions League Elite at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Tuesday.
The Al-Ittihad coach deployed a 3-3-3-1 formation, while Al-Wahda used a 4-1-3-2 formation.
The first half was goalless, with Al-Ittihad enjoying 68% possession.
However, both teams had six shots, with two on target.

Al-Ittihad failed to capitalize on their 5-to-1 corner kick ratio.
The match, which was played cleanly without any yellow or red cards, remained 0-0 at halftime.
In the second half, the home team, nicknamed Al-Ameed (The Leader), immediately pressed with their first attack. However, they were thwarted by a melee in the penalty box.
In the 51st minute, Al-Wahda player Christian Benteke (35) scored. However, the referee ruled he had fouled goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic (1) before the goal.

Al-Ittihad continued to dominate possession and attack, but no breakthrough was forthcoming.
