
Palestinian couples tie the knot in Istanbul.
Istanbul, MINA – Turkey’s Mehir Foundation held a mass wedding party for 100 Turkey-based Palestinian couples at Sultanbeyli Sports Hall on Saturday night, KUNA reported.
The party was held under the slogan of “Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa – theme of our joy” in collaboration with the Association of Palestinian Scholars and Sultanbeyli municipality.
It gathered large numbers of well-wishers from various Muslim nationalities, notably head of Mehir Foundation Aygul Erdem and head of the Association of Palestinian Scholars in exile Nawaf Al-Takrouri.
Four trucks loaded with household goods, including clothing, home textile, furniture and gold coins for the couples set out from central Konya province on Thursday, Erdem said.

She added that this is the second such wedding organized by her association.
