Goalkeeper Jefri Makes Persipura Cry at Home, Adhyaksa FC Promoted to the Super League

Sentani, MINA – Persipura Jayapura trailed Adhyaksa FC Banten 0-1 throughout the first half of the 2025/2026 Pegadaian Championship playoff match at Lukas Enembe Stadium, Sentani, Jayapura Regency on Friday.

Adhyaksa FC’s goal was scored by Adilson Silva (7) in the 45+1 minute, a difficult goal, as he was hampered by Persipura defenders.

In the second half, the Black Pearl continued to press for an equalizer. The home team’s star striker, Jeam Kelly Sroyer (82), repeatedly attempted shots, but they were unable to find the net.

Goalkeeper Jefri Wibowo (85) put in an epic performance guarding the Adhyaksa goal, forcing him to fend off the onslaught of attacks. Not only did he deflect shots, but Jefri also had to fight for the ball with Persipura players.

As the match drew to a close, Persipura pounded the Adhyaksa FC defense relentlessly.

In the 88th minute, goalkeeper Jefri managed to block a ball that was about to enter his goal. Ramai Rumakiek (23) met the rebound with a quick overhead kick, but Jefri was still able to block it.

Furthermore, Jefri made several saves, prompting the Persipura players to express their frustration.

In the 85th minute, Bima Ragil’s (44th) shot was blocked by Jefri.

The referee then halted play with five minutes of normal time remaining. The stoppage was due to disturbances from the home crowd. However, play resumed shortly after.

In the 89th minute, Jefri again blocked a shot from Reno Salampessy (7).

An attempt by substitute Feri Pahabol (17) was also blocked by Jefri.

Ultimately, eight minutes of stoppage time was not enough for Persipura Jayapura to score. Goalkeeper Jefri Wibowo was a monster in front of the Adhyaksa FC goal.

The 0-1 scoreline was a victory for the Banten-based team, securing the final promotion ticket to the 2026/2027 Super League.
