Kigali, MINA – The Muslim World League held a graduation ceremony for 70,000 Quran memorizers in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda in East Africa.

The ceremony was led by the league’s secretary-general, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, who is also head of the Organization of Muslim Scholars. The event was attended by ministers, officials, scholars and families of the graduates.

In his opening remarks, Al-Issa highlighted the Muslim World League’s efforts to support Quranic education and assist memorizers worldwide, including protecting them from extremist ideologies and the influence of violent groups.
