London, MINA – A historic Global Day of Action for Palestine saw more than 200 organizations mobilize across 60 countries and six continents on Saturday, in what organizers described as the largest coordinated international solidarity effort for the Palestinian cause to date.
Convened by the Global Alliance for Palestine, with support from the Anti-Apartheid Movement and SANED, the day featured 325 mapped events worldwide. Organizers said the scale of participation demonstrated that solidarity with Palestine has grown into a borderless global movement.
In Europe, 176 actions took place across 24 countries, including 64 events in Italy and 38 in Spain. Major demonstrations were held at Rome’s Colosseum, Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, and outside the Israeli Embassy in Brussels.
In Oceania, 45 actions were held, beginning with a Hīkoi for Palestine march from New Zealand’s Parliament to Civic Square.

Latin America and the Caribbean contributed 36 actions across eight countries, highlighted by a major march in Santiago, Chile. Africa saw 32 actions in 10 countries, centered on a Global Mass March in Cape Town that moved from Muir Street Masjid in District Six to the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
In North America and Asia, events included a demonstration outside the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, a gathering outside the Israeli Embassy in Bangkok, and nationwide mobilizations across Malaysia, including a mass rally and memorandum handover at the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Beyond traditional marches, communities organized cultural, educational, and creative forms of protest. In Alessandria and Cape Town, memorial processions carried 25-meter and 20-meter shrouds bearing the names of Palestinian children killed in Gaza.
Other events included “Birdwatching for Palestine” in Mexico, a theatre performance titled “Mashahidi wa Gaza” in Tanzania, a funeral-themed commemoration in Strasbourg, a two-day solidarity festival in Athens, and a children’s kite-flying event alongside a conference in Tehran.

Organizers said the day’s demands were directed at ending Israeli impunity, calling on governments to impose military embargoes, halt arms supplies, and prosecute those responsible for war crimes.
“Today’s mobilisation is not a passing wave, but a defining turning point in a sustained international struggle,” the organizers said.
“Palestine is not alone, and this global movement will not falter until Israeli impunity is shattered and true justice, freedom, and liberation for the Palestinian people are achieved.”[]
