Rabath, MINA – More than 30 Moroccan cities witnessed protests on Friday as thousands took part in events marking the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, expressing solidarity with Palestinians in the face of Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza and rejecting normalization with it, the Palestinian Information Center reports.
The rallies were held in cities including Casablanca, Fez, Tetouan, Ksar El-Kebir, Agadir, Inezgane, Ait Melloul, El-Hajeb, Khenifra, Errachidia, Tinghir, Beni Mellal, and Khouribga.
Participants gathered outside several mosques after Friday prayer, raising Palestinian flags and keffiyehs and chanting slogans condemning Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
Protesters voiced support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, rejected the continued assault on Gaza, and denounced official normalization with Israel, particularly the upgrade of relations to the level of ambassadorial exchange.

Abu Bakr al-Wankhari, a member of the Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Nation’s Causes, said the rallies, held under the slogan “Friday of the Flood Anniversary,” reflected a firm popular position in support of Palestine and the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, dignity, and the liberation of land and holy sites.
He said the Al-Aqsa Flood operation marked a turning point that returned the Palestinian cause to the forefront of global attention and exposed Israel and the violations faced by Palestinians.
Al-Wankhari said the participation of citizens in more than 30 cities showed how deeply Palestine remains rooted in Moroccan public consciousness, despite official efforts to strengthen relations with Israel.
He stressed that Palestine would remain both a popular and national cause for Moroccans, and that positions rejecting the occupation and normalization would continue to be present in mass solidarity events.[]
