Citizens of Various Regions Attend Munajat 212 at Monas

Jakarta, MINA – Munajat 212 (an event of pray to Allah) with the theme of “Increasing the Role of Ulama to Strengthen the brotherhood Community in the Frame of NKRI” at Monas (National Monument) in Thursday evening was attended by many residents from various parts of the regions. In fact, people from abroad also attended.

“There are a lot of people come from many regions, such as Makassar, Surabaya, Tasikmalaya, and Padang and even from foreign countries such Dubai (Qatar),” said Ustaz Yan Harland, who was at Monas, Jakarta, on Thursday night, as quoted from Republika Online.

Ustaz Yan continued, there were several national figures had come to Munajat 212 which held by the DKI Jakarta Ulema Council (MUI). Among them, Chairman of the Honorary Council of the National Party of PAN, Amien Rais.

In addition to Amien, namely PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan, Deputy Chairman of PKS Party, Shura Council Hidayat Nur Wahid, and PKS President Sohibul Iman. The program took place in a conducive and orderly manner.

The situation at Monas was currently very crowded and all the people have swept away in an atmosphere of spirituality. “Orderly, conducive, very crowded in an atmosphere of high spirituality,” he said.

Maghrib prayer in the congregation went solemnly. Thousands of MUI administrators of Jakarta, mosque administrators and prayer rooms from all over Jakarta, and teaching religion leaders seemed to be solemn to pray in congregation.

After completing the prayer, KH Nasir Zein, who served as a priest, invited all pilgrims to read Yasin together, followed by recitation and prayer.

The sound of the holy verses of the Quran was followed by recitation of remembrance sounds serene and in unison.
