Al-Quds, MINA – Israeli illegal settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, according to local sources, as cited by the Palestine News Agency Wafa.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of Israeli illegal settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards near the Dome of the Rock, where they performed Talmudic and provocative rituals.
Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, has long been witnessing frequent Israeli provocations, including repeated raids by Israeli illegal settlers escorted by Israeli forces, restrictions on Muslim worshippers, and attempts to assert control over the compound.[]
