After Laos and Indonesia, President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to visit Thailand and Vietnam.

Manila, Philippines, 18 Dzulhijjah 1437/20 September 2016  (MINA) – After Laos and Indonesia, Duterte’s next official trip will be to Thailand and Vietnam in the last week of September.

After his controversial appearance at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Laos earlier this month, Duterte is expected to visit Filipino communities in Thailand and Vietnam.

The President also has a standing invitation from Japan, The Star reported on Tuesday.

It is not yet known when Duterte will pursue his working visit in Brunei after it was cancelled because he had to attend to pressing needs in the aftermath of the Davao City blast killed 15 people and injured 70.
